About Us
It started in 1978..
Located in Claremore within the Tulsa, Oklahoma area on historic Highway 66, Bill’s Sporting Goods has been specializing in hunting equipment and shooting sports since 1978. We offer quality service and up-to-date products, including archery supplies and bow tuning services.
Bill’s passion for this industry is what has helped our pro shop evolve with the times and become a hallmark of the community. With a vast amount of experience, we prioritize our customers’ wants and needs. Bill’s Sporting Goods was founded on the principle of ensuring a happy consumer.
In early 2026, Bill, Donna and Abbie decided to decided to transition to a new phase of life and Trent and Casey purchased Bill's Sporting Goods to continue the legacy of serving our local community and the region's sportsmen and women! We are excited to build upon the strong foundation of service, excellence and confident customers that Bill's has been known for for nearly five decades.
Off-Season Bow Tune-Up
If you've been in the store, you've likely noticed we're shuffling some things around. Part of that shuffle is a re-vamp and expansion of our archery counter! More to come on that, but we've got new bow presses, bow vises and draw boards, paper tuner hung up, and are ready to get to work!
I know it seems like October is FOREVER away, but the leaves will be turnin' colors and the white-tailed critters we all love will be cruisin' through the woods before we know it.
Don't miss time in the woods, NOW IS THE TIME to get your bow in for a tune-up! Now through June 30th, drop your bow off for a full "tune-up" for only $77. We'll clean 'er up, set your axle-to-axle spec, re-serve your center serving, tie on a new nock set and D-loop (you've probably worn it out from practicing, right?), check your string and cables, check timing/sync on your cams, time your rest/check your rest cable, set your draw length and weight, check and service your bolts/screws, and paper tune it before you leave.
We also offer free paper tuning with the purchase of a new bow!!!
If you're needing new strings and cables, we offer Zebra Strings, FirstString Archery and UnBound Archery custom options! New strings and cables start at $30 plus materials, and will go up after July 1--so will wait times and shipping times!!
We want you heading to the woods confident this fall, whether you're buying a new bow or dialing in old faithful. 188 days until deer season!
